Gidon really wanted to go to the rally in memory of Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated in Tel Aviv in 1995. At the time, Gidon and his family were devastated but it is only now, later in Gidon's life that he has been very interested in attending such rallies and becoming more politically active! He was very energized by the large crowd that attended.
